The morning after our very special 40th year Awards Presentation Night, we had 31 Striders out Parkrunning again, at 8 different events!
We also had 4 Striders volunteering – Jerry Evans & Dave Keegan at Alvaston & Richie Wheatcroft at Shipley. We also had Tim Stokes – Marshalling & again taking on his ‘role’ as Striders Photographer at the top of the Markeaton Hill ;) thanks very much all of you!
Some more great performances this week: Charlie Pearch again getting his PB and his first sub-19 in the process! Talking of ‘first sub’ times, Liam Regan also got his PB and first sub-18, wow, well done lads, they are great landmarks to make!
Sally Leyland was also firing on all cylinders, showing how effective track training sessions are, with a brilliant PB! Then up at Sherwood Pines with Kenny Malton (and I presume Finlay & Edith!), Rachel Farrow continued her great form with a course PB! – Well done all of you, fantastic running!
Some more good tourism going on too, all first timers, with Rachel Young at Conkers, Sally & Steve Cartwright at Kingsbury Water Park in Sutton Coldfield, and Gloria Lagou & Chris Sharp at Tamworth Castle Grounds! Brilliant folks, hope you all had fun!
