If you’d like to run the TCS London Marathon next year, the rules are as follows:
The club typically has one place in the marathon which will cost the lucky winner approx £50. That’s all, no fundraising, no silly costumes, no running like Heile to get a good-for-age place. The lucky winner will usually be drawn at random at the Club Night in early December.
To be in with a chance of winning the place you need to meet some criteria:
- Be a paid up competitive member of the club.
- Have completed (or volunteered at) 8 Club events in the previous year – that could be cross-country, road races, headbangers, parkruns….
- Have entered and been rejected from the TCS public ballot.
- You must not have been awarded the place in the previous 2 years.
More details will be provided on the Club House Facebook page and a post on the website homepage in due course, once the ballot has been completed.
