Parkrun Results – 19th Nov 2022

This week we had 20 Striders parkrunning across 6 events, we also had 5 Striders volunteering at Alvaston – Margaret Cowling, Ray Evans, Liz Phillips, Paul Phillips and Lyndsay Wiles – thanks very much all of you!

Unsurprisingly this week we didn’t have many PBs, with our Striders gang focused and rightly saving themselves for the Derby 10 miler today! Steve Randle did get another PB though on his comeback journey – well done Steve, it’s going well mate!

At Wolverhampton Chris Halliday continued his impressive tourist tally and ‘Tourist trip of the week’ undoubtedly goes to Paul Pearce and Sam Kitchen who, on their lads weekend away, not only managed to drag themselves to the local parkrun in Hamburg – the Alstervorland (Alster Foothills), but Paul showed them how it’s done by getting 1st place and Sam got 9th place! Brilliant lads, hope you’re enjoying your weekend!

Well done everyone, hope to see lots of you this morning at the Derby 10 mile. If you’re starting to find it tough going, just relax and remember our Striders motto ‘Smiles Eat Miles’ – good luck everyone!
