Plenty of racing going on for Striders this weekend, firstly on Saturday Simon Goodall ventured up to the Peak District for the Dambuster 10 mile, which sounds a great race in the lovely Derwent Valley! Simon had a great race and also came 10th in his age category – well done Simon, brilliant running!

Then today we had a group of Striders plus some cheerleaders who had headed out to sunny Malaga for a weekend break and to do their Half Marathon! Cracking performances folks, especially on what looked like a very warm and beautiful day! I’m sure they are all still celebrating hard as I write this, very well earned all of you!

Also today Amanda Wilson was getting some more of her travels in, over in Sandringham for their rescheduled 10k, which was moved due to the Royal mourning period. Well done Amanda, hope you were treated to a posh afternoon tea afterwards! :D
