Six Striders took on the Winter Bash this year, which is a 10 mile, self navigation trail race around the South Derbyshire countryside. Kenny Malton taking the honours with 1st place overall, and Chris Wilshaw coming a very close 2nd place. Absolutely brilliant running, congratulations Kenny & Chris! Doing Striders proud :)
Pascale Holden also came 2nd lady, the day after being 1st lady at Beeston Parkrun!! What an extremely successful weekend Pas! (and tiring I expect!)
Well done to you all, it’s a real shame however that Darren’s result was showing he missed a checkpoint. Not sure what happened but well done Daz, that was a really good run still, glad to see you back on it :)
