Club membership subscriptions are due to be paid this month.
Following support of the membership at the AGM and through the online vote (94 for the new structure, 5 against), we are adopting some changes to the membership fee structure and are including a significant fee increase to replace the Wednesday night £1 track fees and the Friday night 50p. Effectively immediately these charges will be discontinued.
Fees for 2018/19 shown below:

*England Athletics registration fees are applicable to all those representing Shelton Striders competitively as their first claim club. It is necessary to take part in the club Championship, Headbanger and cross-country competitions, and to claim your £2 affiliated member race entry discounts.
Social members do not need to pay the EA registration fee. Most of our junior members DO NOT need EA registration. It isn’t required to take part in the club fun run championship, or the junior Derby Runner League XC races. Juniors will need to be registered to compete in the National Cross-Country Championships.
Online payments are straight forward – just follow the link on the payment request email from England Athletics when you receive it. Cash or Cheque (to ‘Shelton Striders’) are still options for those who prefer to pay this way. If renewing on the same basis as last year, you do not need to complete a new membership form.
We use EA’s web portal to administer membership and collect renewals for all members whether they opt for EA registration or not. England Athletics will use your data to enable access to an online portal for you (called myAthletics). England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your myAthletics portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings).
