An amendment to both Wilne and the GNR results. Stephen Watson also completed the GNR in a time of 01:41:13. Dave Keegan took on the two laps at Wilne and clocked a time of 01;26:19. Well done to you both!
A big weekend in the race calendar! The world’s biggest half marathon, the GNR, saw around 60,000 competitors take on the 13.1 miles from Haymarket (Gateshead) to South Shields. At least one Strider, Daniel Butcher completed the course in a time of 01:59:54 – well done Daniel, great effort. Any one else complete the GNR, results can’t be filtered by club 😡. A shout out to local runner Ben Connor who came 4th in a time of 01:02:57!
Meanwhile the flat and fast Wilne 10k saw a sub 30 minute winner and 16 Striders run the two lap course. Well done everyone who ran this weekend 😊.
