Yesterday at the Derby City Boxing Academy, lots of Shelton Striders and friends swapped running for some new activities, all for raising money for Annabels Angels who are our chose Club Charity for 2023. A fantastic total of £318.09 was raised for the charity, which is absolutely brilliant – well done everyone!!
Our Striders & friends were soon busy massage-receiving, skipping, boxing, dancing, hoola hooping, clothes swapping (not with each other before someone (Mr H) asks!!), coffee drinking & cake eating! It was a fantastic day, organised by the wonderful Striders Ana & Paul Pearce and Laura Neave Mash up Fitness many thanks to you all!
Huge thanks go to everyone who took part and for the lovely folk who gave up their time to make it possible – Derby City Boxing Academy for hosting us, Laura Neave Mash Up Fitness, Jo Teft Sports Massage, Rebecca Gibson Carter ROCCA Remedial & Sports Massage and Emily Ganley at Nadia Jane Performing Arts! Thanks so much to all of you, we had a brilliant time, thanks for helping us raise all this money for such a good cause :)
