Last Sunday was the 3rd XC race of the season, a return to Allestree Park only a month after we were last there! It’s such a great course and setting though, no one minded :)
It was great to see the junior Striders back in action, very well done to Bethany & Charlie Pearch, great runs by both of you! (Not sure why Bethany is down as Sinfin though?)
We also had a massive 21 senior Striders racing, with several their first ever XC (well since school :) )
Brilliant running everyone, thanks for making it such a great event once again, the Striders Team atmosphere was buzzing and we had some really great performances on a very challenging, muddy, hilly course!
Big thanks also to all who came along to support us – there was lots of Striders dotted around the course, taking pictures/videos and encouraging all runners, marvellous! :D
Thanks very much to Patrick for sending the results and all his hard work with organising us all, sorting the tent etc and to everyone who brought cakes along too, much appreciated!
