The venue for this years Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire County Cross Country Championships had to switch to Bulwell Hall Park due to Markeaton being cancelled. This gave the opportunity for 5 Striders to try out a new location – though relatively flat, the course was very challenging and energy sapping, with the muddy conditions and both the ladies & mens races coming in over distance!
Well done everyone, especially Pascale who got a bronze medal for coming 3rd in her age cat for Derbyshire – Brilliant Pas! It was a great event and we all had smiles on our faces (at the beginning and end!) even though we also had to push Pascales car out of the mud in the quagmire of a car park! Thanks for the lift though Pas! :D
