The icy conditions this week made it a tricky one for the 11 Striders who ran at 3 events – well done all of you! Numbers also reduced due to the Bolsover 10k today (hopefully, course inspection at 7:30am). Well done to Alvaston ever-present Dave Keegan who wasn’t deterred by their cancellation and hot footed it over to Long Eaton as a solitary Strider – brilliant Dave!
This week was also due to be the last Parkrun Championship fixture of the year, at Alvaston, so that was a shame, maybe we might be able to sneak one in before the year end still :)
