On Sunday we had two Striders racing, firstly closer to home Matt Glazier at the Carsington Water Half Marathon, which I’m pleased to see after Matt was having his doubts at track on Wednesday, great determination and result Matt, well done!
Then we had Andy Miller who was over in Italy on a last minute decision, to do the Maratona di Reggio Emilia, which is a full marathon in Bologna, (home of the “Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari” race circuit, known as Imola) – https://www.maratonadireggioemilia.it/
Andy hadn’t done much preparation since his fairly recent Venice Marathon, but he said he’d never felt so strong during the race and even ran back to the hotel afterwards!! Brilliant Andy!
