The bank holiday weekend saw 19 Striders running at Parkruns, including a few tourist trips! We also had Rachel Farrow and Ian Crompton volunteering at Markeaton and Alvaston respectively so thank you both!
At Markeaton Andrew Miller did his first as a Strider, whilst at Long Eaton Tim Spate continued his return to form with a cracking sub-20! Well done!
At Alvaston, Paul Pearce managed a brilliant 2nd place and it was fantastic to see our friend ‘Chief’ Neil Hancock back as a Strider again, well done mate! And Paul Webster, although telling me at the track that he no long runs, only ‘trains’ due to injury, managed a PB, well done – a great training session Paul!!
Further afield Liz Phillips got her course PB down at Horsham whilst visiting family, James Realey was up in Merseyside at Birkenhead and Steven Oliver wasn’t too far away from Liz at Foots Cray Meadows which is (I had to look up) South East of London. Fantastic all of you, I hope you enjoyed it and it was as warm and sunny as here in Derby :)
