21 Striders did Parkrun this weekend across 5 different events. Firstly, apologies to Charli Land for being the only Strider at the Tourist trip to Watermead :( in hindsight we probably should’ve moved this to another week as it clashed with Fiona & Marcels HenStag stumble in the peaks. Sorry Charli, I hope you enjoyed your run anyway, we’ll have to add it to the list of ones to do still if that’s ok :)
Elsewhere Jonny Branch casually romped home with yet another 1st place, showing the Southerners how it’s done at Bartley on the edge of the New Forest – coming in 41 secs ahead of 2nd place, well done Jonny that’s brilliant!
Congratulations to Lyndsay Wiles for firstly joining Striders ( :) ) but then also getting her pb at Alvaston in her first Parkrun as a Strider – fantastic, well done Lyndsay!
