This week was a bit damp but great running conditions for the 31 Striders parkrunning at 6 events. We didn’t have any volunteers due to fantastic takeovers by Sinfin at Alvaston and Belper Harriers at Markeaton – thanks everyone!
At Markeaton, Martin Kerr again claimed the top spot, Steve Randle was back after a recent injury setback to get his course PB at Alvaston & Chris Halliday did Victoria Park in Leicester and got his PB too, brilliant running lads!!
Tourists of the week must go to Amanda Wilson & James Realey – Amanda notched up her latest tourist location (72 now?) and what better place to do it than at Caffarella in Rome! Not to be outdone James Realey did the Alstervorland parkrun in Hamburg – fantastic, hope you both had brilliant weekends!
