A bit of a breezy Parkrun on Saturday, but at least it stayed dry.
38 of team Striders were out and about at 13 different venues. We had a First Place, 2 Pb’s and 8 First Time tourists.
Helen Morley was winning again and was First Place lady at Newark in a time of 21:45. After waiting over 3 years to break her PB at Alvaston, Amanda Jackson broke it again in consecutive appearances, taking 13 seconds of her last one to clock a time of 33:03. Chris Sharp also set a new PB at Clifton taking a whooping 6:24 of his previous best to come home in a time of 25:32.
