A scorching hot evening in Elvaston didn’t deter over 500 runners, including 20 Striders, taking on the Tara Kinder Memorial 10k in the beautiful Castle grounds.
Lots of Striders & friends out marshalling and supporting too, with special mention to Lyndsay Wiles & Kate Hughes providing vocal & musical motivation at the Golden Gates and Neil Realey who brought his own stack of water bottles down to hand out en route – great work folks I could see it was really appreciated by the runners.
Very well done to everyone who ran in those conditions, you should be proud of yourselves, whatever time you did it in :)
