Lots of racing over the last few days, on Saturday we had Marie Standley & Tracy Hepburn taking on the Dovedale Dipper, with Ian Crompton volunteering at the checkpoints – thanks Ian! Marie did the 15 mile & Tracy the 26 mile, well done both of you!
On Sunday Pascale Holden & Simon Goodall were over in Nottingham for the running festival, where there were 3 distance races going on at once. Pas & Simon did the Half Marathon, with it being Pas’ first time guiding Simon at that distance – it sounded like a tricky one to navigate, with theirs being a 4 lap race amongst the other distances – not ideal, but well done for you both getting through it ok!
On Tuesday it was our latest Off Road Championship fixture, at Parwich in the Peak District. There we had Pascale Holden again in action & Paul Roome taking on the 5 mile race, which ended up being about half a mile or so longer! This didn’t detract from their enjoyment as they reported it was a really nice fun evening in the Peaks, what’s not to like! Well done both of you :)
