Yesterday we had 4 Striders racing at 3 different events – well done to Andy Miller & David Green who were over in Paris with almost 60 thousand other runners for the marathon! Neither Andy or Dave knew the other was doing the race, with Andy meeting up with his friend from Italy, and David over there with Louise Hart cheering him on! David thought he saw Andy at the 28k mark, he probably did stand out, wearing his Striders Pink Pacer shirt! Well done chaps!
Then a bit closer to home, at the Sheffield Half Marathon, Neil Hancock was celebrating doing his 50th Half, 22 years after his first one! And despite the years (and the never ending hill apparently!) he managed exactly the same time as his first one! Brilliant running Neil, an amazing achievement mate!
Then even closer to home, down at Conkers, Wayne Davis was with his TDR pals and put in great performance at the ‘Run in the forest 5 miles’ – well done Wayne, a cracking run!
