Well done to Ian Crompton & Denise Robertson who both got PBs today at Lytham & Alvaston respectively and Pascale Holden & Liz Burgess coming 1st & 2nd in their VW50 Age Cat at Alvaston! Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers for making it happen – Richie Wheatcroft at Shipley, Tim Stokes at Markeaton, and Steve Cartwright, Anna Hagan, Pascale Holden & Amanda Jackson at Alvaston – great work!
Out and about, Chris Sharp tried out Cannock Chase for the first time, Tim Spate & Sam James were again on their travels, this time in the Cotswolds trying out Chipping Norton School parkrun!
Then last but not least, Eamonn & Kate Hughes were over in Ireland and Eamonn did his parkrun on the beach at Portrush, with Kate as cheerleader. Sounds absolutely brilliant, the whole run on the sand even though they got windswept and sand-blasted in the process!
