Yesterday we had 8 Striders at the Peak Rail 7 – Runner vs Steam, which looked a lot of fun – the runners attempting to beat the steam train on its 7 mile route through the beautiful Peak District countryside! They had to take on a mostly off road route so it sounds a great challenge! I believe Tim Spate (and presumably Ben) were also on the train, cheering on Mum Sam, bet that was great fun :) well done to any other Striders & family that took that option too!!
I’m not sure whether I’m being pranked as an April fool, but rumour has it, Patrick did actually beat the train!? Very well done to all of you, hope you all enjoyed the day :)
