Race Results – Inter Counties XC & Sinai Park XC – 9th/10th March 2024

Congratulations to Charlie Pearch & Martin Kerr who on Saturday had the honour of representing Derbyshire in the County Cross Country at Wollaton Park! They had qualified for this at the County XC earlier in the season – an incredible achievement, getting to wear the Derbyshire vest, and it was the first time they’d had the opportunity, fantastic running lads, very well done!

Then the following day was our final League Fixture of the season – Sinai Park in Burton.  As our Striders team started to assemble at the tent (thanks Ian Crompton & Will Luesley for sorting that out) up pops Martin again this time to don the Striders vest! Hardcore that is Martin well done :D

On the whole we had a great time in the mud (lots of mud!) – a very heavy, slippery, undulating course, and heavy rain starting part-way through. It wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but nonetheless we all finished fairly unscathed!! Well done Striders on another successful & hugely enjoyable Cross Country season! :D
