Just catching up on some brilliant results from over the last 2 weeks. Firstly down in the Capital on 25th Feb, Sue Kinross joined over 18000 other runners to take on the London Winter 10k! This is a charity event raising money for Cancer Research and goes through the heart of London – well done Sue hope you had fun, I’m sure that was a fantastic event!
Next we fast forward a week to 2nd March and the Belvoir Challenge. This is a 15 mile mud-fest organised by The Friends of Harby School as a fund raising event. Incredible work Christine Purslow, Paul Webster, Chris Donald & Tracy Hepburn. It really looks like you had a lot of muddy fun! Well done all of you!
Lastly on 3rd March we had Matt Bailey running across the whole of Staffordshire County – not just for the sake of it, but for the Millenium Way Ultra! It was 41+ miles from Newport to Burton on Trent, which apparently had some brutal muddy fields – just what you needed eh!! He also came 16th overall and 3rd in his Age Cat! Blimey Matt that sounds a real grueller, fantastic work!
