After last weekends ice & snow it was time for the rain to return, the joy! This didn’t put too many people off – well done to the 30 Striders running at 7 events and to our lovely volunteers for making it happen – Anna Hagan-Pearce at Dulwich and Ian Crompton, Pascale Holden & Amanda Jackson at Alvaston – thanks all of you, especially in those conditions!
At Alvaston it was our final Striders Parkrun Championship fixture, with a last chance for points for our 19 Striders running & 3 volunteers there, great turnout folks! Well done to Simon Goodall who got his course PB, expertly guided by Pascale! Excellent work both of you!
We also has some great Tourism with Paul Pearce (and Anna) at Dulwich in South London, Chris Sharp at Bestwood Village, Amanda Wilson, Hazel Baxter & Tim Stokes at Beacon in Lichfield, Rob Higson & Paul Roome at Battlestead Croft near Burton and Jerry Evans at Cannon Hill in Birmingham!
