Well done to Matt Bailey who on Thursday evening came 1st in his Age Cat MV50 at the JCB5 and also broke our Category club record too. Great run Matt!
Then last night at the Tara Kinder Memorial 10k, we had a brilliant turnout – 30 Striders running and lots volunteering/marshalling/picture taking/motivational-wine-banner waving/bell ringing – Fantastic support from you all, thanks very much it’s so much appreciated by all of the runners!
Cracking performances out there too, on a good evening for running – drizzly but muggy. Well done to Pascale Holden who came 1st in her Age Cat FV50, great running Pas! I’m aware there were also PBs, but not sure exactly who (all I know is Dave Sullivan beat his by 5 mins and Sally Cartwright set her course PB!) well done all that got them :D
Yet again in the naughty corner (joke :) ) we have Tim Stokes, who was the only person not down as Shelton Striders (I think, unless we have anyone else I missed!?). Great running though Tim, it’s not in the RunDerby race series though, so up to you if you tell the organisers or not. I’m sure Steve Cartwright & Paul Phillips will make sure you’re included in our Club Road Championship results :)
Just one other little reminder, I thought I’d better mention, please make sure you wear your Shelton Club Vest/Shirt if you want points on the Club Road Championships :)
