Race Results – Crich Monument Race – 16th July 2022

Last Saturday, after doing Markeaton Parkrun in the morning(!), Rachel Farrow, hot-footed her way up to the Crich Fete, which is held in the Village mid-July every year. There was lots to see and do including the Battle of Britain Memorial Lancaster Fly past! Rach took part in the Race (11.3k and 1000 ft of climbing!) and had a nice steady run in the sunshine. She finished 131st, but the only downside was that when she finished the queue for the ice cream van was right across the field!!! Surely runners should get VIP access to this?!? :D
