Sunday saw the return of one our favourite races around, the Brooksies Bash Trail Race! It’s held in the beautiful South Derbyshire countryside and starts/finishes at the stunning Foremark Hall. Run by the main man Andy Brooks and his Peak Running team with lots of other volunteers (many of which are Striders too!) Always a very enjoyable event with a friendly atmosphere – Thanks to everyone involved for making it happen again and raising money for the Derbyshire Mind charity :)
Well done to all the Striders taking part on yet another hot day! Congratulations to Andy MacEwen, coming in an absolutely amazing 2nd place and 1st in his category! Wow that’s a brilliant run Andy! Hot on his heels in 3rd place was Kenny Malton, coming 2nd in his category and Matt Bailey finishing 11th in surely one of his most successful running weekends, with 2nd in his category too!
There was also a 5k, family friendly race, which Daisy Patheyjohns & Jethro Holden took part in, well done to you both!
