The busy racing weekend continued with lots of Striders taking part across these 2 races. Liz Phillips made it 3 races in 3 days, but not only that, got a club record for the 5 mile at Smalley!! Fantastic, well done Liz, very much deserved. Hope you’re recovering well from the 3 dayer!! We also had some other Striders doing 2 races in 3 days, fantastic running all of you, you’re all machines!
Big congratulations to Martin Kerr who had a brilliant race and took 1st place overall at Smalley, out of 230 runners, very impressive and again much deserved after really consistent running, well done Martin!
Like a Legendary World-famous footballer, we also had a Strider who simply went as ‘Dominic’ (wonder if he had that on the back of his shirt!?), I’m guessing that was Mr Hutchinson-Backer! Nicely done Dom!
Well done all of you, and special mention to Neil Hancock who was chuffed to get under 2 hours at Ashbourne on hardly any training, (not advised kids, but a breeze for our friend Neil :) )
