This week 25 of us took on our first club Parkrun tourist trip – not too far just down the A52 to Beeston!
We also had 5 other Striders at other local Parkruns, so a great turnout in all.
23 of those at Beeston ran (15 of which was their first there), Matt Henning marshalled and Sally Cartwright was our supporter and photographer – thanks both of you!
It was a lovely sunny morning again with only a slight breeze, and the results showed it!
Congratulations to Pascale Holden who came first lady, brilliant Pas! We also had 7 Striders in the top 20 with Jamie Atkinson getting a course PB.
More importantly, lot’s of smiles and encouragement for other runners, rounded off with a cuppa at the end!
