Very well done to all Striders who came out and did the Cross Country in November at Shipley, and last weekend at Anslow!
Hope you all had fun, it certainly seemed so! Special mention to Chris Sharp & Lyndsay Wiles who did their first XC for Striders too! (Lyndsay’s was her first XC since school days!). Glad to report they both really enjoyed it!
And it wouldn’t be proper XC without cake! So thank you very much Chris Donald & Daniel Butcher for going to the trouble to bake for us, it’s really appreciated both of you :D

Our next League fixture is on 19th January at Sinai Park, I’ll post details a bit closer to the time.
There is also the County XC at Shipley Park on 4th January – always a fantastic event, where you will be running against other Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire runners with a chance to represent Derbyshire in a later Inter-Counties race! Any club runner can enter this too. Here’s the link.
