Another warm and muggy Saturday morning, well it was in Derbyshire, had 30 Striders at 6 different venues. Most Striders were at the “normal” venues but we did have Ian Compton at Lytham Hall, for the third time this year, which is next to Royal Lytham and Saint Annes golf course. Tim Spate and Sam Spate were first timers at Colby which is in Pembrokeshire, but the furthest afield first timer this week was Sam Kitchen in Caffarella, which is Rome.
Probably due to the conditions this week we didn’t have many PB’s. In fact we had just the one and that was at Alvaston. Hazel Baxter clocked her third PB of the year at Alvaston with a time of 23:39.
