Parkrun Results 15th June 2024

So despite many Striders racing at the Hairy Helmet (results to follow) on Friday and the club trip to Bridlington on Saturday, 27 Striders took to the parks at 7 different venues. We had 2 first time visitors and 3 new PB’s.

At Forest Rec, Chris Sharp completed his second run there, and got nearly a 5 minute PB recording 23:48, Gloria Lagou was also at Forest Rec as a first timer. At Lowestoft Liam Regan set an impressive new PB of 18:09, taking 1:43 off his old PB. At Alvaston Henry Lucas got his second PB in just over a month clocking 24:14, chipping 14 seconds off his previous best. And last, but by no means least, Rob Higson visited Dolgellau for the first time. Needless to say it’s in Wales, I think Rob is on his Jollies!

It finally looks like summer is on it’s way so lets hope for a warm sunny Saturday!
