Well done to the 8 Striders we had racing yesterday – firstly we had Andrew Lucas & Daniel Butcher taking on the Manchester Marathon, sadly Dan had to pull out due to an injury flare up – really sorry to hear this Dan, recover well and we’ll all see you soon. Well done Andy, & great support from Lyndsay Butcher up there too :)
Then we had our Road Championship event where Will Luesley took on the 5k (and came 4th place!), Dave Sullivan & Sharon Sullivan did the 10k, and Patrick Munro & Denise Robertson the Half Marathon – well done all of you on what sounds a nice but challenging, undulating course!
We also had Simon Goodall taking on the Stilton 7 miler which is around the Melton Mowbray area – well done Simon, excellent running – hope you had fun!
