This week we had 25 Striders running at 7 different events! Not surprisingly there were no PBs this week, due I think to most people easing off a bit for the big one tomorrow – the Derby 10 mile!
We had lots of lovely volunteers out there doing their thing to help out, so thank you very much to Amanda Wilson & Chris Sharp at Markeaton and Margaret Cowling, Anna Pearce-Hagan, Dave Keegan, Andy Miller & Denise Robertson at Alvaston. Great work folks – sorry if I missed anyone, I have to search manually for volunteers!
We had some really good tourism too, Paul Roome had his first go at Hanley near Stoke, Hazel Baxter was in Birmingham having her first go at Oaklands, Amanda Jackson was at Brierley Forest in Leicestershire and Richard Brown was down in Devon at Minehead – well done all of you!
