For 3 of our Striders racing on Sunday the glorious sunshine continued and made their race day experience even better! Well done to Sally Cartwright who took on the Manchester Half Marathon, Denise Robertson the Carsington Water Half Marathon and Chris Halliday the Stilton Stumble 10k!
Sally joined a whopping 12911 other finishers at Manchester!! She had fun and was pleased with her race especially after recent lurgy effecting her distance training. For Denise it was her first ever Half Marathon, what a fantastic achievement and beautiful location for your first one, especially with that weather! Chris did well getting another 10k in between long work shifts and enjoyed his race around the lovely Village of Cropwell Bishop in Notts!
