This week we had 27 Striders running and Alex Hall volunteering at Markeaton, Steve Cartwright, Margaret Cowling, Rob Higson, Karen Whitton (with son Lachlan) and Lyndsay Wiles all volunteering at Alvaston, thanks very much all of you :)
Well done to James Realey for getting his PB and sub-20 at Alvaston! James has been working really hard in training and races over the last few weeks and is now reaping the rewards, brilliant running James :D
Also at Alvaston, Harry Sloan is on great form at the moment coming in 3rd Strider and the only VM75 there! Great to see Daniel Butcher working his way back and Chris and Graham Donald managing to get a parkrun in again :)
Some brill tourism this week – Chris Halliday on the West Coast and doing Burnham and Highbridge, I bet that was lovely Chris!
Henry Lucas has really got the parkrun bug now and did the Guernsey one with Dad Andy Lucas whilst over there – well done boys that must also have been a great one along the coast!
Sam James, Tim Spate & Ben Spate were up in Whitby so had a first go at their Cinder Track parkrun, well done all of you!
