This week we had 24 Striders running and Ian Crompton, Andy Miller, Ray Evans & Dave Keegan all supporting by volunteering at Alvaston – thanks very much folks!
We had lots of Striders saving themselves for the Smalley 5 Bells race this evening, however we did have a few who did both Parkrun then the race!! – Well done to Matt Henning, Kenny Malton & James Realey – fantastic work lads!
From what I can see we only had one PB today and that was at Shipley, Richie Wheatcroft – course PB and 9th place – great run Richie!
We had a few Striders touristing it, Rob Higson showed the folks in Boston his great run of form by coming in 6th place on his first go there, well done Rob! Charli Land was up in the North East and took on the Blyth Links parkrun for a first time, hope you are both having a great weekend!
Well done everyone, remember next week lots of us Striders are off to Shipley parkrun to help with their attendance record attempt, then we have the Parkrun Championship fixture at Alvaston the week after!
