Parkrun Results – 15th October 2022

Yesterday we had a fantastic turnout for our Striders Parkrun Championship fixture at Alvaston – 27 runners, and Louise Hart, Charli Land, Angela Monk providing brilliant marshalling support, thanks very much! We even had a guest appearance from Team Cartwright, calling in before their journey to York, to pick up a stray hoodie! :D

Great to see Steve Randle back again after a long layoff with injury, and a brilliant run from Matt Bailey coming 3rd place, whilst Andrew Miller got 7th place and a PB! – well done everyone! It was a brilliant morning folks, with Chief Photographer Eamonn Hughes hard at work, and blue and white everywhere you turned! :)

Elsewhere we also had 4 Striders at Markeaton, with Andy Macewen getting an excellent 2nd place, well done Andy!

Don’t forget, we have our next Tourist Trip coming up at Rosliston Parkrun on 29th, be great to take lots there too!
