An excellent Striders turnout for this local race at Elvaston Castle, returning after a 3 year absence! We had 11 Striders running (21% of the total runners!) and lots of others volunteering and out on the course, cheering us on and taking pics – thanks for the support folks!
Congratulations to Liz Phillips for getting another club record FV50 for the 5 mile! Brilliant Liz, well done!
Great running everyone, it was a lovely get together as always and it was also great to see Denise Robertson back racing again, well done Denise! :)
Chris Halliday told me beforehand he was aiming for about 42 mins, so he well and truly smashed that and got 7th place!
Whatever you do though, don’t ask Paul Phillips what distance he clocked the course at…. :D
