This week it was the turn of the wind to give us more of a challenge on our Saturday Parkruns. This didn’t stop 20 Striders, nicely spread across 6 local parkruns, with some very impressive performances!
Martin Kerr getting yet another 1st place at Markeaton, Kenny Malton a 1st at Conkers (I’m hoping this wasn’t ‘with buggy’ or we may as well all retire!!) and Paul Pearce getting a 2nd place at Alvaston too! Brilliant :)
At Beeston Liz Phillips battled strong head winds to finish 2nd lady, and Sally Cartwright took on her first go at Beeston and achieved her aim of a sub 30, impressive in those conditions!
Well done everyone, keep up the good work! Best of luck to all the Striders at Mallory Park Cross Country tomorrow!
