Second fell race of the week. Richard had told me that he expected to be last strider home, instead he was first strider male home. But many congratulations to Pascale who not only won her age group but was also first strider home! Well done everyone.
Made it to the @peak.running Hob Hurst Fell Race tonight for the first time (I’m usually away on holiday this week). I have to say, I absolutely loved it. 5 miles. Mostly uphill for the first 2 miles, flattish at the top and then a lot of downhill to finish!
Pretty solid underfoot thankfully, as my shoelace untied itself about a mile before the finish and there was no way I was stopping to tie it up..
The run felt great in the legs, but a little bit lung busting! 42 minutes put me as sixth female and first F Vet 40! Beer prize
