This race is an extremely popular event on the calendar today and, with climbs of 838 metres and the route through the hills of Snowdonia, quite a contrast to usual road marathons. The hills give this route the equivalence of over 29 miles! Just one Strider was entered this year and Neil Hancock was running for the Brain Tumour Charity. Neil came home in 04:53:49 in 1455th place. With over 50 runners earning a DNF that is one tough race! Well done Neil!
