This was the first Kilburn Kilometres. All proceeds in support of the junior school where registration was held.
There were good facilities, with 450+ pre registered runners. World record holder for cycle time across Europe, Leigh Timmis started us off. His wife, who is also a world record holder, was there. Both ran. Really well Marshalled and signposted. Total mudbath, rain all week and more the night before gave us the deepest mud just above our knees. The obstacle course run-in was optional, so we did it, some more enthusiastically than others through scramble nets. Great turnout, good fun.certainly challenging terrain & conditions and we did it
