Well done to both runners and walkers at the Grindleford Gallop this year. Horrendous conditions didn’t stop the hardy ones. Last year 495 finished the event – this year only 70 less and that was because they chose not to start. And that was nothing to be ashamed of either but I had expected a much larger DNS list. I am in awe. I was also in the warm occasionally thinking of you. Louise was a walker on this event – so she was out in it even longer!
