Just 2 striders took part in this race and I, personally, am delighted to see Dave completed this event inside the hour – something he had expressed a wish to do when I spoke to him last week. Clearly the form that has eluded him for most of the year has returned and he is even setting PBs. Well done Dave!
Paul was the second strider and his time does not reflect his ability at all but his gun and chip time exactly mirror the runner who finished with him, so in the true spirit of Shelton Striders he clearly was supporting and encouraging a new/returning runner. Well done Paul!
