Initially it looked like the 30KM Belper Rugby Rover would be discontinued from this year, but with some strength of feeling from former competitors and, more importantly, some fresh volunteers to organise the race it was reinstated. The weather was kind this year for those running and walking, including 13 Striders. Well done to all who took part and an extra cheer for Shaun who picked up the 3rd place prize!
It just goes to show how important it is to keep a good supply of volunteers to keep our local races alive.
