As new routes are run then I hope to add them here to allow runners to check out before the runs and also to help them to be reused in subsequent years. I am measuring these two ways – by running with Android GPS (not brilliantly reliable) and by manually plotting on MapMyRun.com

Towpath

The future of the towpath is now “up in the air” waiting to see what it will be like when the new road is complete.

Darley Park

Meeting at the City Road car park in Little Chesters sees the start and the route is explained HERE

Oakwood

We meet at Springwood Leisure Centre with more parking at the community centre and the route is explained HERE

Breadsall

Starting at The Paddock (391 Mansfield Rd, Derby DE21 4AW) and the route is HERE

Weston-Upon-Trent

Starting at The Coopers Arms in Weston-Upon-Trent (DE72 2BJ) and the route is HERE

Willington

Meeting at  Willington Picnic Site (whose entrance is next to The Dragon, 11 The Green, Willington, Derbyshire DE65 6BP for use with Sat Nav) and the route is HERE

Pride and Alvaston Park

Meeting at the south east corner of the Ipro stadium the course is a 2 mile course being run twice by those in the 4 mile competition. The route is HERE

Chequers Inn, Dale Road

Stanton by Dale, DE7 4QF. No route is currently available but the course is 2.8 miles (x2) including lanes which may be unsuitable for unaccompanied children.
