Well these 3 are certainly an eclectic mix of races.
On Friday 24th October, two teams of Striders took on the Autumn version of the Hairy Helmet. A slightly different course saw a total of 160 runners take on a 2 and a bit mile course around Darley Park – in the dark! With fancy dress and head torches a plenty, a great night was had with the prize of a beer at the end!

Sunday 25th October had a half and a full marathon.
Patrick Munro (1:43:52) and Daniel Butcher (1:59:34) took on the Worksop Harriers Halloween Half. A challenging 13.1 miles through the beautiful Clumber Park, not to forget the jokes at about 9 miles. Not very original, but funny nonetheless.
Over the Irish Sea, Hazel Baxter was setting her marathon PB 0f 4:10:53 in Dublin, smashing her previous best by 11:48 – excellent running Hazel!
