Not quite the bumper numbers of the last 2 weeks, mainly due to the stumble I suspect. Pubs versus Parkrun – it’s a tough call 😊.
However, we still managed 33 Striders at 9 different venues with 4 First Timers and 3 PB’s.
Paul Phillips visited Black Rocks for the second time and took 2:02 off his PB to clock a time of 34:18, Sam Kitchen joined the other Striders at Long Eaton as part of the “tourist” Parkruns, his first time there since 2022 and took 33 seconds of his PB to achieve 20:29. The final PB of the weekend saw Liam Regan shave 1 second off his PB to take it down to 17:35 at Alvaston, a PB is a PB!
On to the tourists:
Rosliston – Naimah Hameed
Sence Valley Forest – Rob Higson and Adam Dominey
Crinan Canal – Chris Sharp
It’s set to be a beautiful week and the clocks have gone forward – get out there and enjoy the light nights and the sunshine 🌞.
