Last Sunday 16th Feb we had 13 Striders running at Allestree Park Cross Country, which gave us enough to score again and we maintained our 5th place in the league! Big thanks also to Graham Donald for marshalling, supporting and taking our pics!
A fantastic turnout, well done everyone – especially with other Striders over at Stamford too! Great running and determination from everyone and especially Dave Matthews in his first ever XC and Eamonn Hughes making a return – well done chaps!
Thanks as always to everyone who helped out, bought supplies, made cakes etc and kept us all going, another great team atmosphere!
The final fixture of the XC season is on 2nd March at the beautiful Foremark reservoir, lets go out in style folks, and get full teams again!
